Young Adults

The Young Adults Ministry of Midway is a place for those in their twenties to forties, whether single or married. The ministry exists to cultivate a healthy community under the Word of God. Through teaching ministries, community groups, and social events, we hope that this ministry helps bring young people into the church and gives them a place to grow in Christ and be a part of a life-giving community.

John clearly states his overarching reason for writing: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).  In a world where there are false teachers and “antichrists” who seek to unsettle those who believe in the name of the Son of God, the apostle John has the goal of settling the hearts of believers and giving them confidence in what they believe.  The double strategy for reassuring his “little children” is to show the falsehoods of the imposters and to show true believers that they are walking in the truth, highlighting a number of tests to distinguish the genuine from the counterfeit.
